We are a non-profit organization based in Turlock, California that saves and rescues unwanted and abandoned cats.
Our main goal is to help control the animal population in our surrounding communities. We are a NO KILL rescue group. None of this could be possible if is was not for the help of our local veterinarians. Since 1996 we have found homes for over 4,000+ animals. In the year 2008 alone, we have found homes for 362 cats/kittens, 17 dog/puppy's, 24 ranch placement, and 95 off site shelter dogs. A total of 498!
Adoption Trailer Update
We are proud to announce that we have purchased our adoption trailer! Our trailer will be arriving soon, as it is being transported from Texas. We would like to thank all those whom have contributed! Your help has made it possible for us to reach our goal.

FRIENDS OF TURLOCK ANIMAL SHELTER recently celebrated their 12th year as a highly respected asset to the City of Turlock and a true friend to the animals in Stanislaus County. In 2007, we made a challenge to break our 2006 record of 501 pet adoptions. We are delighted that we exceeded our goal and adopted out 576 pets for the 2007 year. In addition, FRIENDS OF TURLOCK ANIMAL SHELTER cooperatively assisted the Turlock Shelter by successfully placing 37 of their off-site shelter dogs for adoption in the fall of 2007.
For 2008, we have set a new challenge. In order to handle the quantity of adoptions and continue to aid the City of Turlock and Stanislaus County, our goal is to pursue our dream of purchasing a MOBILE ADOPTION TRAILER. The benefit of this trailer is to ensure a safe environment that is less stressful for the animals until they are adopted out and lessen the chance of the animals coming into contact with viruses and disease. The trailer will also enable us to introduce more animals into the community. The cost of the trailer is $32,000.00
To attain our goal, it is essential to obtain financial assistance through donations and grants. We have already begun this process by applying for several grants and are pleased to announce our first grant was awarded by PetSmart Charities for $4,200.00. PetSmart Charities has given us one (1) year to purchase the trailer.

Sponsorships of $5000 or more will advertise your logo on half of the advertising area shown on top of the trailer as shown on the website. There is only room for 2 of these sponsorships - your logo will be displayed on both sides of the trailer.
Sponsorships of $2500 display your logo on one side of the trailer.
Sponsorships of $500.00 will advertise your company name or logo on the outside of the trailer.
