We are a non-profit organization based in Turlock, California that saves and rescues unwanted and abandoned cats.
Our main goal is to help control the animal population in our surrounding communities. We are a NO KILL rescue group. None of this could be possible if is was not for the help of our local veterinarians. Since 1996 we have found homes for over 5,000+ animals. In the year 2010 alone, we have found homes for 276 cats and kittens, 8 dogs, and 157 shelter dog adoptions!
Ok Friends and Family! We have 1,000's of Calendars to sell. They are only a $10.00 donation and they help us fund our 2012 Spay & Neuter Program. Each calendar sold will help us fix 1 animal. Each month has a photo of animal(s) adopted out directly through our organization. So no sad feelings when you flip to a new month. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that animal was already adopted and your $10 donation will help more like them find a loving and caring home after they have been Spayed or Neutered. All photos were taken by Lee Anne! All calendars were professionally done by a local printer company. If you are interested in getting a calendar, you can get one directly through us for a $10 donation. We will even come to your home to deliver it if you are in the area. Or for an extra $3, plus $1 for each additional calendar, we will mail it to an address of your choosing. We can also send 5 calendars for a flat rate of $5. Help us to Help the Animals! You may choose to make a donation through the website for a calendar by clicking the "Donate" button! Just make sure you let us know that the donation is for a calendar and how you would like for the calendar to be delivered. You can also visit Pet Extreme in Turlock Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00pm to 3:00pm to get a calendar as well. Thank you for your help and support!
We are currently offering a spay assistance program for pregnant cats at Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital and Community Vet Clinic. The cost to spay a pregnant cat is $45. Project X discounts are available with this program. MAKE OUR DAY...FIX THAT STRAY!

FRIENDS OF TURLOCK ANIMAL SHELTER recently celebrated their 14th year as a highly respected asset to the City of Turlock and a true friend to the animals in Stanislaus County. In 2011, we adopted out 274 cats/kittens, 31 dog/puppy's, and 147 offsite dogs!
